Dr Adrian Rogers FRCGP Dr Adrian Rogers is a general practitioner with over 30 years experience in primary care who practices in Exeter and Devon. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners and an experienced expert witness in General Practice. Dr Rogers has an extensive medical legal practice in clinical negligence and personal injury built over the last fifteen years. Until recently employed by the Rolle Practice in Exmouth, Devon (a five partner practice with 12,000 patients and three other salaried doctors) he is now a sessional GP carrying out locum work in a variety of practices and in addition, undertakes out-of-hours cover for Devon Doctors in Exeter. Dr Rogers holds the qualifications MB BS LRCP MRCS having qualified at Guys Hospital London and thereafter undertaking 4 years of hospital practice to cover Medicine, Surgery, Accident and Emergency, Neurology, Obstetrics, Gynaecology and Anaesthetics. He holds further qualifications D'Obst RCOG and MRCGP. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2007. Dr Rogers entered general practice in 1975 (in a four partner practice in Stratford-upon-Avon). From 1977 to 1997 he worked in his NHS practice in Heavitree and Wonford. From 1997 he worked in various practices and in his own private practice, until he joined the Rolle Practice in 2004-2007. Between 1997 and 2002 he also worked part time in HM Prison Channings Wood, and occasionally HM Prison Exeter, as a locum prison medical officer. Dr Rogers is an approved doctor, under Section 12 of the Mental Health Act, for the local obstetric list, for Devon PCT list of sessional doctors and for the Devon Doctors out-of-hours list. |
